Bikes ride free
Buses carry front bike racks at no extra fare. Standard single-seat two-wheelers only — no tandems, trikes, or motorized bikes.

Yes. Visitors with a disability are eligible for 21 days of Island Paratransit service in a 365-day period — bring your home ADA eligibility or documentation of disability. Rides cost $2 each way; book at 409-797-3909. Hours shift seasonally.
Do the buses run every day?
Service days vary by route — weekday routes, a Saturday circulator, and seasonal trolleys. Check your route’s page for its published days and span before you plan around it.
Can the driver make change?
Plan on exact fare. A dollar bill or four quarters boards you anywhere on the island.
